@outlander trust wait for appt not too long. Never sure what to say re you and mum as my relationship with my mother so different. Perhaps something that a therapist could help you with?

Re: Carers under 30...

evening @Former-Member things are pretty crazy here. im not really in the best mental health state for a few reasons really. My cars still off the road, i havent got a cluw when itll be fixed now which is upsetting and frustrating. ive even had to scoop as low as borrowing others cars and now trying to purchase a new one until mines fixed.

Hows things at your end? are you ready for chrissy?

Sounds like the MI not so merry go round is going full steam ahead @outlander, car problems don't help. Over the years we have gradually traded up but do not drive an expensive vehicle.

Pretty much ready here @outlander just need to pick up a few veg and get a gift for the people we are having lunch with Xmas day (I know what to get so won't be running around). How about you?

Re: Carers under 30...

the MI is definently going full steam ahead and mixed in with car troubles , pops decline in health, and my own physical troubles it isnt helping much. i had an asthma attack today due to allergies so that wasnt great.

my car is great except for the gearbox, thats the only thing wrong, its in perfect condition inside and out other than that so im really trying to get it fixed, im talking to a mechanic friend atm who is giving me some options as ive been waiting on my mechanic for the past month and bit so hopefully i can use one of those options to get mine on the road soon.

yeah we are ready here too, itll be prety quiet until dinner time then im out at family.

Hope car situation sorts out soon for you my chickadee. I hope too you are able to get some symptomatic relief - are you sleeping any better?

Have you done a budget review recently @outlander as you did previously, listing all expenses?

Re: Carers under 30...

thanks lovely,
not really @Former-Member the past few days im not sure why but i wake up and im shaking heaps and my heart is going so fast and hard. its like i was having a panic attack but i wasnt aware of it. its weird and it takes a while to recover from. might have to meantion that one to my gp if it doesnt settle soon.

Ive been doing both mine and pops finances now so that we are getting the bills paid properly/on time and im able to get other bills paid for like overdue library books and things- they arent expensive but lots of little things do add up so its good to be working off those ones. since working out both mine and pops i can see where its all going now and ive been able to catch up on 2 bills and also pay off 2 of my smaller bills as well and have some money left over. once christmas is out of the way things will start to go back to normal abit as well so will be able to catch up on some other things like an overdue vet bills. its slowly working out though and sorting through our finances has been really helpful even over the past few weeks

Re: Carers under 30...

Speaking to GP about sleep/ wake issues a good idea @outlander. Really pleased to hear finances are being managed, it takes discipline, but with that comes reward.

Re: Carers under 30...

Yes it is good @Former-Member
Usually i dont have any left to spare but ive had extra money well kind of ive had money to buy gifts when usually i wouldnt be able to do much. And getting the bills slowly cleared out of my name is good too and working on pops as well his is getting paid. Ive set it up so that ive got the base points of rent, power, water, petrol and groceries are priority. Whatevers left i can use that for other things. Its quite a job sometimes trying to prioritise but it is working well.
