Getting back on track

Hi all

Last ditch resort on feeling connected and finding ways I can stop hiding under my bed covers and dealing with negative events better than freezing.

I want to feel again and connect with family and husband.

Re: Getting back on track

Hi @Louigi

It sounds like you’ve been having a really difficult time, and I’m glad you’ve reached out here.. Wanting to feel connected again and be able to respond to difficult things differently is a really understandable goal. I hope you’re able to find some support and connection here with the community. Take things one small step at a time and be gentle with yourself along the way. Do you have any supports in place at the moment? 💛

Hi @Louigi, as well as this forum would a peer support group help with feeling connected and perhaps getting some new ideas? https://www.eventbrite.com/e/peer-led-autism-group-tickets-119441160727

ARCVIC may be able to help with anxiety https://arcvic.org.au

There is also Autism Connect, the National Autism Helpline https://www.amaze.org.au/autismconnect/

What has worked in the past for you?
