Well hi there everybody. I was just looking for people who may be able to help with some tricky stuff im faced with. -here's the life I got... -there's the life I want... and there is a whole lot of technical, physical, mental or emotional issues between the two.
I have struggled with mental problems for a very long time. And I think the gravity of the story and reality of my situation. Induces shock and trauma. And has to sink in over again each day. -But there is apart of me. That weighs things up and desires a better life and to help myself.
Now, if I could...I'd magically employ myself in a good career. And change everything around. But I can't! -so im more or less stuck with very limited options. Reoccurring problems. In the same circumstances. -which gets me down and becomes tiring...
And im tired of feeling like I do.
Im aware of what they say helps and what doesn't. -its just really hard to put into place and follow through with everything.
I'm sorry @eudemonism, I feel I've done more harm then help. @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Zoe7 ?

Re: The array of problems
Oh no. I'm used of people's opinions, advice and answers. -more the merrier right?
I'm unsure of all your positions. And ambitions and how you all fulfill the zest for life that everyone has. -but as for me... -I been put in a gov housing unit, put on the dsp and given pharmaceutical drugs. And it's rather simple and easy. But it's not living. It's not much of a life.
Things get to me. And get under my skin. Like they do for all of us I suppose. And it gets to the point where it's like. To hell with this. It's a bloody circus. It's a load of bulldust.
Sam stuff different day. Around merry go round goes....................
What specific stuff would you like me to tell all of you?
And what are your individual primary objectives?
Can you all list 3 key points?
And I'll work it out from there.

Re: The array of problems
Well @eudemonism
What are your main concerns that are worrying you? Friendships? Relationships? Anxiety? Depression? What is it that you are having trouble with and we can give you all the support we can. Even in spirit. My objective as im.sure with many others as well is to help, support and guide you as well as just being your 'friend' to just be there to talk to for you.

Re: The array of problems
Hi @eudemonism,
Sounds like you've heard it all before so I'll just give you a bit of my personal story and you might or might not relate. I've struggled with some alcohol and drug issues too in my life, still not entirely under control. And I'm on the DSP and pharmaceuticals for bipolar at age 54. I don't honestly expect to be employed again in my life. The main thing I get some zest from is my interest, which involves creativity. Is there anything, even just a tiny spark of something, that might interest you and could be developed into a bit of a hobby? Or do you already have this? The other thing that gives my life some spark are friends that I have developed slowly over some time. My goals tend to be small and within my reach these days. I try to avoid thinking of the grass as always greener on the other side. So my main ambition is to live as well as I can every day, even if that doesn't look so great on the postcard to other people. What matters is how I feel about it. Wishing you well.

Re: The array of problems
Thanks for those messages. They are really great questions and very supportive words.
My main concerns are being in control of my life. And my mental health. And knowing I am heading in a positive direction. -I have had so much doom and gloom go through my mind. It's hard to hold my chin up some days.
I am a very house proud home body. Who enjoys time in the garden, writing, walking, cooking, music, and feeling good in general. Plus, having good and quality relationships.
I've had traumas and stressful factors which have contributed to my mi for many years. And, they are all still there... be it memories, perspective on myself, others and the world and too and from. And just all the usual stuff in general. Self care, achieving goals ect.
I find it hard to fight back against and defeat the enemy. Whether it be... drugs, alcohol, or dramas and dilemmas with people. Or, making the right choices each day. Or, the pharmaceutical drugs and their side effects.
I've had numerous amounts of reoccurring problems for a fair while now. And although the answer is right in front of me. -it's hard to follow through with steps 1-2&3 and get the desired results...
Does it all sound familiar or similar???
