Hopefully seeing posts here of our support and love for you has helped even just the tiniest drop in the ocean @Cuddlebear . Knowing we care, even though we’re all anon & far apart; your online family.
Sorry that the investigation and treatment of your oxygen & blood supply issues are very slow going. I can only imagine how scary that would be to not know what is wrong or what they can do to fix it, or even when they will know this. I am sending big wishes and hopes to your doctors for their wisdom and insight into your condition(s).
Does it help at all to talk about the fear and possibilities, to “get it out” of your head and share it? Or does that make it worse because it becomes front of mind?
I find some things it helps to talk out with someone & share what’s going on, and other things or times it just entrenches my feelings and throughs and makes me focus on it more. I find it hard to predict which I need sometimes (which is OK).
I hope Wilbur is doing well and still being a good support for you (both vision & emotional). Hopefully he doesn’t steal any treats from the pantry ;) .
My younger mischief-dog stole a tub of seafood-based joint-supplement (for the other dog) a few weeks ago, and ate nearly half of the tub’s powder! She’s fine — just expensive powder lol. I guess she liked the smell and was curious what it was the other gets on his food every night. I have started taking photos of everything she gets into & chews, so that maybe one day I will make a collage or photo-book of all the items for posterity.
