Missing everyone!

Missing everyone!

This is just a post to say that I'm missing everyone, the connection, not being able to share my quotes etc. Even though we can't connect like we used to I still care and I'm still here for each and every one of you. Sending so much love and hugs to all ❤️.

Re: Missing everyone!

I don’t mean to take anyone’s time up and I’m just being selfish. I’m sorry and I’m just going to get ready for work

Re: Missing everyone!

@AuntGlow

"I know that uncertainty can be incredibly hard to sit with, so I am curious to know, what is feeling certain or within your control right now?"

Very few certainties currently, and none of which are currently in my control. Booking appointments for the next 3 weeks without knowing if I will need to reschedule them; to that degree of uncertainty even in the short-term. All that is certain is only for tomorrow's appointments.

Got contact from NDIS today that I've been approved for supports for 12 month. No idea what category of supports or levels of support that have been approved; no idea for which conditions I have approval. They said they'd already sent the email but I haven't received it (not even in spam). Wait now for LAC to talk to me about next-steps to prepare for whatever a meeting with an NDIS Planner looks like. Have no info on that yet either. Nor when it will be; "they'll reach out within 2-3 weeks time".

I am wanting to return to (reduced/limited) work hours and the role I will be placed into is one I negotiated myself as "suitable", but I do have concerns about whether it will be adding extra stress and fatigue to me at my current state. When I went through the process to return to work I was in a better state than I am currently. Work will be a good mental distraction however I hope, even though it's only for a handful of hours per week. But the slightest stress currently puts me at risk - hence we are looking at what supports can be put in place in the short-term whilst I have a lot of uncertainties that could be either positive or negative outcomes.

@Cuddlebear currently 6 hours per week, broken over 2 days.

Re: Missing everyone!

@Chasingsunsets the meds from the trial don't have withdraw affects - they're fast-acting/short-time medications (matter of hours), and was only 3 dosages (each 3 weeks apart). Find out in a couple of weeks whether or not I got the therapeutic meds or the non-therapeutic meds. Hope is that I didn't get the therapeutic meds, because if I did they didn't seem have any effect. If I didn't get them, then there is hope still that my brain might be able to respond to it as a possible future treatment. This information will guide what future treatments options to explore or not explore and in what timeframes or costs.

Re: Missing everyone!

I got home from work and my backyard is flooded! It hasn’t been flooded for a couple of years. The rain pelted down last night @MissGremlin

Something positive I had a really great night at work. It was raining and the roads were really wet but the truck I was in coped with the wet roads and then they got so wet that the trucks were really good. It was a run I really liked. Just want to say something positive

Re: Missing everyone!

Morning @Captain24 sweet, oh gees to the yard being flooded, mines very much the same as it's been raining alot here so lots of big puddles.

I'm so glad that work was good last night despite the rain, sounds like the truck you had was pretty good at handling it. I'm so glad it was something positive for you. How are you feeling today sweetheart?

I don’t have much time @MissGremlin

I feel better about going to work tonight so that’s good. Can you show @AuntGlow and @Jynx my positive post please
