Hello @Shaz51 @Naturelover @ChasingSunsets @TAB @MissGremlin and everyone. Sorry I can't remember a lot of usernames and I'm not sure notifications are working.
Sending greetings and commiserations. My account has had some bugs - still does - but I'd like to share group 🫂 hugs

@Chasingsunsets I've been enjoying the musk and rainbow lorikeets in the flowering lemon-scented gum over the road.
Hope you're doing well.
Likewise @EternalFlower and @Cuddlebear and @MissGremlin and @Appleblossom and all.

Good to see you @Dimity I enjoyed a some pottering galahs on my walk this morning, and the whole sonic gallery of birdsong in the trees. Squawked with magpies etc etc ... always talking to the birds, but there was a human friend walking and talking with me today, as well , so that was lovely.
Cooeee

Nor I @Dimity but saw they are famous! I have enjoyed birdlife in the city, eg., when waiting at Southern Cross station.

I'm really enjoying hearing the butcherbird @Chasingsunsets @Appleblossom . There's not much diversity here birdwise but I follow a couple of FaceBook groups that post good photos.
I've read (and have) Stephen Jay Gould's book on Non Overlapping Magisteria. And sympathise with Bill Gaultiere's teaching the Kingdom is a parallel immersive paradigm not some sort of destination (but he wouldn't dream of using that sort of academic language, he's very accessible - just me fumbling to summarise here).
Sounds as though a little raven has just joined the chorus outside.
The gardener is due this afternoon. I've asked for help to clear a large fallen branch (the owners corporation dithered so I've already cleared a lot of it).

I removed a bit of the sawdust in my backyard today. Tick. Something done.
@Dimity You have delved deep into all that material. Some people still hold that religion and science are at odds. I guess Gould was trying to establish academic credentials with rigour, but I can see why you like the Gaultiere couple with Soul Shepherding as their approach.
