Feeling not so great

Feeling not so great

Feeling lost and confused, just wanna feel alright I want things to be the way they used to be. I keep getting let down by ndis support workers aswell and it’s breaking me. I’ve been to ER twice this week and I was trying so hard not to go.

changes are just triggering all together. It’s just hard. But still going with my coping skills.

am safe

Oh I love Mario kart & crash bandicoot those were fun. But not as good as the old days.

Mario kart is a all time fave @Nala2022

I’ve got my support worker coming with me @Cuddlebear - it’s just that I have horrible veins and I’m just very anxious about it.

Re: Feeling not so great

@Nala2022 How are you? It is good to see you on shift. I’ve been off forums a bit. Not being well. I’ve tried quite a few things to get out of this frozen and depressive state. It’s been a bit hard sitting with the emotions today. I’ve had a lot of medical appointments. More to come over next two weeks. I’m hoping the community has some advice. Do I just sit with these feelings? The complex PTSD is very hard and I can’t seem to find anything in my tool box that helps.

Re: Feeling not so great

@Cuddlebear It's lovely to see you back, although I'm sorry things have been so difficult

I don't think you need to force the feelings away or simply sit with them alone. Perhaps try a few gentle things to help you feel more grounded, such as listening to calming music, wrapping yourself in a blanket, getting outside for a little fresh air or focusing on one small task. Sometimes it's about finding little ways to feel safe and comforted while allowing the emotions to settle in their own time.

I hope your upcoming appointments bring some helpful support too

Please be gentle with yourself, you've had a lot to manage lately

And I'm doing okay, thank you for asking 💛

@Fluttershy1 I am glad you have support worker with you. They can be a big support for you. I have small think veins I’m told. Nurse said drink plenty of water before it helps to make them a bit bigger. But I do understand the anxiety around it all. I have chronic illnesses and a lot of medical anxiety due to past experiences. I’m glad you are playing a computer game. Does it help to distract your mind?

I’ve got small veins and mine roll @Cuddlebear - I’ve been told to drink a lot of water aswell. Doesn’t help I have a phobia either.

it does distract my mind, I’ve gone out with mum, we are going to Bunnings yay! My fave place, like the plants there
