Deployment Update to Fix Issues

i just had a hot chocolate. Had a bit of a migraine today and had a nap, but still feeling yuck. So gonna go crawl into bed shortly. Going to throw A heat pack in to warm first though, took me ages to warm up when I had a nap earlier.

driving Sydney to Melbourne on Wednesday trying to get organized and make a bit of a shopping list for tomorrow.

Thank you for your ongoing patience as we resolve the issues with the new platform. We understand how frustrating these issues are, but rest assured we are working hard to first stabilise and then improve the experience. This post is provides some updates on fixes we've been working on.

Tagging

Members were reporting that they were unable to tag some other members. This has been resolved. We have also added the user's avatar back into the tagging drop down list.

Notifications

We are still having issues with EMAIL notifications. The only email notifications currently working are for the pass code that is emailed when logging in. If you are not receiving the code email, please raise an issue at: https://www.sane.org/technical-feedback.

Note, that all notifications can still be accessed via the 'bell' icon. The plan is to restore all email notifications early next week.

Performance

We continue to make daily improvements to the performance of the system and are hoping to see a noticeable increase in responsiveness over the coming days.

User Profiles

Unfortunately we have had to temporarily disable the user profile page for some urgent fixes. This will be back online on Monday 29 June.

We also appreciate all the great feedback you've provided regarding improvements we can make to the Forums. We have captured these and hope to implement many of them over the coming months. One advantage of the new platform will be our ability to improve and enhance over time.

what about accessing old threads. This is currently not working. Can’t post replies to it.

also when clicking a link to a thread, it always takes you to the beginning. And then you have to scroll down so you can click on the page numbers to get to the latest replies.

Oh and what’s the pass code email when logging in? I haven’t received any emails since the new forums started, including when I log in
