Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Yeah, I miss them too, and NikNik will definitely return! Routines are really hard to adjust when they keep us safe and secure and wrapped up nicely....

On a side-but-related note (in a way) I saw your surprise trip on the ferry today was a change-up for you? It sounded absolutely glorious, I wish I could be in beautiful Sydney right now....

Oops that was supposed to be paddling. Not sure what I'd be adding in the ocean in the dark. There's only one moon, nothing to add there. 😝

Super big thank you for checking in @Former-Member and @Former-Member. I am slooooowly moving through the grief around CherryBomb and I no longer seek a check in EVERY night...but then when I do ask for one and it gets ignored, that makes a muddle.

Routine definitely makes me feel calm, and everything still feels all wrong since CherryBomb left and there is no longer that consistency of it being either her or NikNik around in the evenings.

Yep, my day in the city was super cool @Former-Member. I'm not sure where you are located, but Sydney was super sunny today.

@Former-Member can you deliver a tiny turtle hug from Lunar? Do I do hugs by proxy, I am not too sure about that??? Yep I have made an appointment with a psychologist but I don't have a great feeling about her after speaking with her. However, I am testing the theory that I DID have a good feeling about each of my failed attempts and it wasn't a good indicator of success so I am trying to approach this one with an open mind even though the brief phone call with her left me feeling icky. 😕
