Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

Today suddenly got really really difficult. This muddle is such a muddle, I felt it was deserving of its own thread. However, I'm putting a link to it here because one day I may come back to this page on this thread and I will see that this is just another adventure that I have survived. It doesn't quite feel survivable right now, but that's ok, adventures never feel survivable when you're in the middle of them. Today's muddle

Re: Riding a wave

I know you never thought this would happen @Phoenix_Rising (and I honestly didn't think so either) but this afternoon and tonight I am on Genevieve Giraffe in the ocean with you

Re: Riding a wave

This is survivable @Phoenix_Rising, I believe in you. Just keep riding those waves like you do so well

I am going to leave these here for the night moderators to use, should you need someone in the ocean to help you ride out those waves. I thought having some nice colourful floaties would help to cheer up the rough seas....

Wow @Zoe7! Im so proud of you for jumping in the ocean with Genevieve the Giraffe! I'm happy we found her for you to use

And as always...the unicorn is reserved for @CheerBear's use

Re: Riding a wave

I still can't quite believe I am doing it myself @Former-Member - just goes to show how much little turtle means to us all here.

Can we have some shark repellant thingies put in the ocean tonight please moderators - I really, really, really do not like sharks

@Phoenix_Rising I have a couple of extra shells that I left on the rocks - just in case you get any cracks in yours tonight

Re: Riding a wave

@Former-Member and @Zoe7 you SUPER made me smile. I will fall asleep later tonight knowing that I am not alone in my muddle.

Re: Riding a wave

Hopping in it right now to come along for the ride. Thanks for reserving that unicorn @Former-Member 🙂

It sucks that you have to go on these adventures @Phoenix_Rising but I agree, it's survivable. I think that because it's all been survivable before this and because (un)fortunately you are well practiced at surviving what feel like unsurvivable adventures.

I did have a bit of a think about your idea of crocheting a psychiatrist and even considered crocheting a whole new mh system. It seems as if there are no patterns for either of those though 😕 So I'll sit with my new project and keep working on learning all the stitches and maybe I'll be able to write my own pattern for us one day.

Re: Riding a wave

I'm very proud @Zoe7 and I think shark repellant thingies are a must! These thingos apparently repell sharks, so I will leave them here also to keep you both safe tonight in the ocean...

There are also dolphins swimming around which are notorious for taking sharks on and winning the battle..

Glad we made you smile @Phoenix_Rising. Your not alone in your muddle

You're welcome @CheerBear...you have a permanent reservation for the unicorn

Re: Riding a wave

Thankyou @Former-Member - I feel safer already

@Phoenix_Rising I just whipped up a little mud cake for you - should be enough to share with everyone that will be around tonight.

ps @CheerBear you can leave the strawberries for me lol

Re: Riding a wave

I'll leave all the berries for you @Zoe7 and just eat the icing (like the adult I am) 😄 Looks delish!

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7@Former-Member@CheerBear You made me giggle.

That cake looks AMAZING @Zoe7. I'm not sure what @CheerBear is thinking though, believing that she will get to eat all the icing. Yeah right, not likely with me here.

I would love for you to crochet a psychiatrist for me @CheerBear. Then at least if police etc. asked me if I have a psychiatrist I could say "yes". And if (or more likely when) I have another bad experience with a MH worker, maybe the crocheted psychiatrist could double as a voodoo doll.
