Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

It's hard feeling alone but you're not. What do you usually do when you feel like this? Music, a podcast, reading? .

@Zoe7 thank you. I will turn my phone off now. I know that looking at screens isn't conducive for sleep, for me. I just wanted to get the safe feeling of knowing there is someone there. I hope the night is treating you ok. I am actually ok with being awake as it was bothering me just how much the help-me-sleep medication has been making me sleep. I'm feeling more hopeful now that the excessive sleep has been partly due to being sick with a cold. I super hope you are getting more sleep these days - it really does make a huge difference. Night. 😊

Hi @Former-Member it is nice to see you out here on the ocean today. Hey...you know how at FF last week I asked you to drop me back in the ocean when we reached sea level? Well I had anticipated that you were going to bring me back to Forum Land, not drop me off at some random beach in France!!! I spent the entire weekend swimming back to Forum Land. It's a good thing the seas were calm. It took a long time, but I just kept swimming, putting one little flipper in front of another.

I know I'm so sorry...I had that moment when I was in bed thinking "oh no! I didnt put @Phoenix_Rising back in the ocean!" at some ungodly hour during the night. Glad you found your way back to forums land, although being at a beach in France doesnt sound like a horrible thing..I would have joined you back there again! Happy to hear that the seas were calm and you kept putting one flipper in front of the other
