Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Calmer waters are on the horizon

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Jupiter,

I super super SUPER like that you come and visit on the ocean.

I'm not at all sure that the calmer waters are just over the horizon, I think they may be a little further away than that. However, I appreciate the sentiment. I feel sad because it super hurts that there are special turtle rules for little wonky turtles. I'm not bad though am I - just a little bit wonky.

I get to talk talk to someone tomorrow. I'm super hoping that that will help with the very very very VERY big feelings. And then on Thursday I will see TTT (therapist-take-thirteen) and hopefully that will help too. I am super glad my writing words came back today. I super hope my talking words come back by tomorrow. I just keep rocking and making weird noises at the moment, but my talking words have to come back sometime don't they.

Thank you for being out on the ocean today @CheerBear @Catcakes @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie (I super hope I haven't missed anyone).

Thanks for welcoming me tonight @Phoenix_Rising. I see that you explained the TTT acronym for me. Thank you I was wondering what that was.

@Jupiter lovely image.

@Phoenix_Rising There are no words ... I have no words that can encompass all that should be different from how it is. No, not bad, not bad at all. Wonky is emminently acceptable.

Morning in the ocean ☺

Quick pop by to say that I really hope your talking words can come back today and that it helps to talk talk @Phoenix_Rising. I checked my phone and apparently it is Wednesday today which should then make it TTT eve. Seriously hoping that helps also!

Hope there's good today ☺

Morning ocean dwellers, waves to @Phoenix_Rising Bit windy out today *clutches floaties tightly*.

Thinking of you, wishing you good things and a good day for today and an even better one for Thursday. 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Former-Member,

Ooooh I'm very excited that you came to Forum Land prepared with floaties!

I get to have my talking talking time with someone in 45 minutes and I'm super hoping this is going to help settle the gigantic waves a bit. Of course, it would probably help if my talking words could come back sometime between now and then!

I'm sitting here contemplating an email that I have just received. It is from someone who is part of one of my change-the-world adventures. They seem to be clashing a bit with someone else in the adventure and they want me to use my "lived experience" to support them against the other person. Er...yeah...like this little Aspie turtle knows how to navigate a social situation like this!!! Methinks I'm going to have to find someone to help me figure this one out! Ugh!!!

I'm super glad you found your way here to Forum Land @Former-Member. I am super enjoying having you around. I hope your day has lots of good in it.

Re: Riding a wave

Goodness, the adventures you do have @Phoenix_Rising *still clutching floaties tighter than my pearls - I canna swim y'know *

OOH, got the days mixed up! Sooper dooper good thoughts for talking words to make an appearance for you today.

Hmmm, that email ... interesting ... side taking in adventures can divide the team/ party into factions and makes everyone a bit more reticent to be involved and supportive. Turtles and elephants then spend more time making sure they're either not getting stepped on or not stepping on others instead of enjoying and participating in the adventure they signed up for.

Does your lived experience tell you what would be the best outcome for you, perhaps? Ultimately, the turtle is the most important in this situation, so what the turtle wants is the most important thing.

Hope your day is super rewarding.
