Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

I hear you @Phoenix_Rising, I’m so sorry I’m still not a person you can talk to but I can tell you what I’m doing if you like? I’m sitting here with my youngest son. He has been asked to audition for a play and provide head shots and a resume of previous acting experience (which is extensive). I’m helping him with chronology and filling in some gaps. It’s fun to reminisce. I’ll be taking some photos too but I suggested a shower/shave first 😏

Re: Riding a wave

I simply don't know how to live with no value and no purpose. How does anyone live with that??? My objective reality is that no one can stand being around me in the real world - not even via telephone. I have no value and I have no purpose. How does anyone live with that?

Re: Riding a wave

The wrongness of the wrong has done such catastrophic harm in so many ways, but the greatest way is the way in which it crushed my sense of purpose. I have no reason to get out of bed. I am invisible. I am worthless.

Hearing you @Phoenix_Rising ..... I don’t know what the answer is .... all I can tell you is that what I know of you here, I am in like with ....

Hi @Phoenix_Rising,
That is a very hard reality to be processing and questioning. with. Sitting with you.

Re: Riding a wave

@Former-Member you changed your picture.

Thank you for sitting with the bigness of the muddle rather than trying to somehow make it seem less big than it is. It is SO big, and right now I simply do not know how to live with it. The wrongness of the wrong has utterly utterly utterly destroyed me. I am reliving my past and I am looking down the barrel of a purposeless future, sitting in my house knowing that no one can stand being around me - even via telephone. How does anybody live with that?

@Phoenix_Rising I hear you, I see you, you are the cause of the smile I wear when I read about your adventures and your philosophical deliberations. In my eyes you are worthy, not worthless.

Stay afloat little turtle, please stay afloat.

Re: Riding a wave

Still sitting with you also @Phoenix_Rising. Thinking of you as much when there isn't talking as when there is. It's big 😞

Hang in there @Phoenix_Rising.....
There has to be an answer to your conundrum.
