Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

Goodmorning @Phoenix_Rising sorry about that, our phones are down this morning, so we are doing callbacks until they are up and running again 🙂

Thank you @Former-Member. I spoke to the scary after-hours person. I got my name and number out amidst my stimming. Good job me. I am super glad you are here on the ocean this morning. I feel calmer knowing you are watching over the ocean.

Re: Riding a wave

The waves of suicidal ideation are so so SO big. I so badly want and need help, but there is no one to "reach out for support" to. The super gigantic wrongness of the wrong has utterly destroyed me.

Re: Riding a wave

I hear you @Phoenix_Rising and even though I can’t feel exactly what you feel, I trust you when you say how wrong it all is.
I’ve been wracking my brain for a reply to the question you posed on the DBT thread and I’m marvelling at your ability to write amongst such big waves.
Contemplating also whether it’s safe to try out my new nectarine picking ladder when no one’s around.
Do you think the @Former-Member would call me a bus if I fell? 😳

Re: Riding a wave

@Catcakes Thank you for being able to appreciate the wrongness of the wrong without knowing. Are you planning to climb a ladder in Forum Land or at your house? Every time I need to climb a ladder at my house (like the other day when I was cleaning the ceiling exhaust fan thingy in the bathroom), I contemplate the fact that if I fell, no one would even start looking for me for weeks. You live with others don't you? I think if you know someone will find you within hours, ladder climbing would be fine. A new nectarine picking ladder sounds like fun!

Re: Riding a wave

@Catcakes, lol of course... especially if youre happy to share some nectarines 😉

Re: Riding a wave

You’re right @Phoenix _Rising !
But I think I’d use my phone skills rather than waiting for my partner to get home .
I am also contemplating whether I should leave the yummiest looking nectarines which are hanging slightly over the fence for my neighbours to pick? I feel I should but what if they don’t like nectarines and leave them to drop on the ground?

Sigh. Shhhhh don't tell.

Stay safe @Phoenix_Rising 🌱

Re: Riding a wave

Our survival skills are not pathological, @Phoenix_Rising—society is wrong. And the wrongness of the wrong is so very, very, utterly wrong. I'm here being thrown about in the gigantic waves with you. You matter, @Phoenix_Rising. Operation-Stay-Alive is super important. 🌷🐢
