@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.
I do not matter, I'm only one person, Destroy me completely, Then throw me away. 😔😔😔😔😔

Re: Riding a wave
How does anyone create a life worth living with no family, no friends and no reason to get out of bed @Former-Member? I do not see how it is possible.

I wish I knew the answer to that question, @Phoenix_Rising—for both of us.

Re: Riding a wave
I’m sorry you feel completely alone @Phoenix_Rising and I reserve your right not to answer my questions regarding a life worth living but I wonder for you PR, what would that look like, what would that feel like, who might be in your world worth living? I have these questions to answer for myself as well...

Re: Riding a wave
@Catcakes for me a life worth living would mean having the career that I spent 12 years at uni working towards.

Re: Riding a wave
Yes @Phoenix_Rising, I hear you 😞 I am in awe of anyone who strives towards their goals at uni because it takes a long time to get the rewards. My eldest is in his 9th year of study and I just hope he can one day be remunerated in the subject of his passion. I am also in mourning for a career I worked and studied in for 33 years and loved and lost 😞

Re: Riding a wave
@Catcakes I would have been ok with it taking a long time if there had been a reward at the end. But there wasn't. It was a lie. I spent 12 years on a piece of paper that sits in the bottom draw of my desk and now I face a lifetime of sitting on welfare with no reason to get out of bed.

Re: Riding a wave
Could I suggest to you @Phoenix_Rising that I think that piece of paper means you are eminently qualified to give and receive support on this here Forum.... I for one having been a recipient of the aforementioned support... and that piece of paper should be framed and hung on your wall...,🤔
