@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.
I would really love to learn the violin @Phoenix_Rising .... one day 😊

Re: Riding a wave
Far out that's a long break @Phoenix_Rising! I can see how things will start feeling more routine and less Christmas-break once your volunteering gig starts back. I hope you enjoy your violining today.
I think you're a huge fan of my GP which is where we've been this morning. I heard you un-face palm that she heard and saw me today (thankfully!). Big relief.
While I'm here, I'll let you know that I won't be here tonight for FF and I may not be here huge lots again this weekend. I thought I'd mention it because it's a planned thing and (hopefully) not so much a squished and blanket burrito kind of one. That's the plan anyway!
Hi to @Catcakes also. Hope your day is going ok 🙂

Re: Riding a wave
My day has kind-of gone splat. I've done nothing except lie under my blanket. I feel super alone and super worthless. I am super struggling with the gigantic wrongness of the wrong. How can so many helping people do so much harm? How can they be so nice and so caring and yet at the same time, be so completely oblivious to the harm that they both have done and are doing? How can this possibly possibly be? I don't know how to ever change the world when those who have understanding don't have power, and those who have power don't have understanding.

Hearing you @Phoenix_Rising. Sometimes people think they are helping but really are hindering. I hear you

Re: Riding a wave
Thanks @CheerBear for the mention. I was having a reasonably ok today looking after Mum, hair appt, shopping, cooking, laundry. But it just turned sour... my appt with my psych ended badly on wed because I became angry by the continual interruptions, reversing truck beeping. Very loud, intrusive noise. I cracked it and told my psych I wouldn’t come back because I can’t tolerate the noise. She sent me a text saying the beeping truck is rare but her office is next to a loading dock so I can’t risk it 😣😩
