Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

Operation Tricky Tuesday is complete and I am a super sleepy little turtle. {Snuggles deep into @CheerBear's pocket and starts snoring little turtle snores}. Zzzzzzzzzz 😌

The if-you-don't-like-it-leave conversation and the email buses and the oh so very very wrong wrongness of the wrong is weighing very very heavily in my soul right now. 😔😔😔😔😔

Hello @Phoenix_Rising I hope you got some sleep. I can hear the heavy. Balm to your soul.

@Phoenix_Risingtotally understand how wrong the wrongness is and how not helpful it is.

Good morning on the ocean,

I saw TTT this morning - yay! We talked mostly about email buses and the wrongness of the wrong and how organizations can get themselves into muddles sometimes and consequently do harm. TTT was SUPER validating, which helped SO much.

@CheerBear my inside is telling me that things are tricky in your world right now and I am super thinking about you. I am going to head out soon to continue my hunt for a knot cushion. I can't wait to report in when I've found one!

Yay for TTT @Phoenix_Rising 🙂 I am sure that had I heard that conversation I would have been nodding along with a giant "yep". Love those validating feels.

Thank you for listening to your insides. It helps that you do that.

Hope it's not a not knot cushion one 😉 Have fun!

Good evening on the ocean,

The weight of the wrongness of the wrong feels oh-so-heavy in my soul. I am super grateful for TTT though. I think her head is spinning a bit as she tries to get a handle on just how wrong the wrongness of the wrong can be. It is super validating talking it through with her. You would definitely have been nodding along to the conversation @CheerBear!

I'm seeing TTT again on Monday as we try to get into the rhythm of a regular session time. We talked today about me seeing her twice a week, but it seems that two of the other psychologists in the practice are going on leave and thus TTT is picking up their clients. This is super frustrating in terms of me wanting to see her twice a week, but it is kind-of cool to know that because the whole practice is so trauma focused, they do pick up each other's clients like that. Even though it would still be a VERY big issue if TTT got squished by a bus, it is a little bit comforting to know that the practice owner has strategies in place to ensure that clients aren't completely abandoned.

@CheerBear I am going to snuggle into your pocket now. My inside is still telling me that something is really wonky in your world right now. I am sitting with you in any wonkiness. I am right here - complete with knot cushion! I can hear you - even when I can't. I can hear and feel and know. You've got this. We've got this.

Night.

Re: Riding a wave

Morning @Phoenix_Rising and anyone in the ocean this morning.

Thank you for seeing and hearing that which the few left in my not-forum life who can actually see me and hear me, can't Phoenix_Rising. It's incredibly helpful to have a not-friend who doesn't need to see because they can hear so well even when they can't.

I have been hearing you also and listening to something inside me. I really hope you know that and that you can feel me hearing you too, nodding along to conversations like that one yesterday.

I am so happy for you that you have TTT (and her crew if ever she is squished or decides to have another baby). She is fab.

Wondering if you'll be off volunteering and violining today?

I really hope there's more right than wrong for you in today.

Re: Riding a wave

Good morning on the ocean,

@CheerBear I am sitting here face-palming at the not-Forum people who cannot see and hear despite seeing and hearing.

I super know that you can hear me, and that you are listening to something inside of you. I can feel you hearing and knowing and understanding.

I will be violining this evening. My volunteering gig starts today, but the first day is an orientation kind-of day and I struggle with the not-so-structured nature of it. Thus I will reappear there next week. I am looking forward to it. It's the one thing that needs to start up in order for me to be really back into my not-Christmas routine. The Christmas period is definitely the trickiest part of the year for me.

I super hope there is lots of good in your world today @CheerBear. I'll see you when...well, when you open your handbag, I guess.
