Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

Do you have a story suggestion @CheerBear or @Former-Member? If we pick a story and then I will settle for the night on my pause button.

Re: Riding a wave

I will head to the bookshelf and look through it and wait to see whether @Former-Member has one also. I loved your book choice last time bookish ☺

Re: Riding a wave

I don't have any new ones tonight, @Phoenix_Rising and @CheerBear. I know lots of good stories, but I'm way too fussy about narrators when I'm trying to find YouTube videos.

I like the crayon stories, especially the second one. (By the way, the colour of the sun really IS hot.)

I'm glad you liked the bear story, @CheerBear.

Re: Riding a wave

I'm so fussy about narrators also @Former-Member. The book I wanted to share doesn't seem to be easy to find. It is called Scruffy Bear and The Six White Mice. Puffer fish and I read Piranhas Don't Eat Bananas tonight @Phoenix_Rising. Short but cute 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

@CheerBear and @Former-Member it sounds like I will need to explore...or I could just listen to the crayon stories and the gruffalo.

I will try to go to sleep on my pause button now. At least this time next week I won't be on my pause button anymore. I so so SO can't wait for NikNik to get home.

I miss CherryBomb. I miss her SO much. I feel scared that Forum Land is never going to be what it was when CherryBomb was watching over it in the evenings.

Night.

Brains aren't made to be put on pause. My world keeps getting darker and darker.

I do not matter,
I'm only one person,
Destroy me completely,
Then throw me away.

Re: Riding a wave

@Phoenix_Rising - you do matter. My dark days are often less so for knowing you & reading your posts. The world needs you to be around. Although you say you don't like change, you are changing the world a little at a time, and that is an extremely important purpose.
