Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

@KobeCat super big thank you for letting me know you are with me overnight. I have just woken up and it was so super nice to see that reassurance. Only a few more hours now until I see A.

I feel guilty for snapping at @Former-Member. I am not angry with her at all or anything, it is just that EVERYTHING hurts. I struggle to understand why others struggle to understand how much I need people to simply be with me in silence. I don't find silence awkward. All I need to help me stay afloat in a storm like this is for people to say "I'm here." Nothing can "fix" it, I simply need to feel less alone in the storm.

I will snuggle back into my leaky shell again now to try and sleep a bit more. Super big thank you for being there.

Please don't feel bad @Former-Member. It was just an oopsy and it is ok to make oopsys sometimes.

...and still the storm rages. Seeing A helped...but then I've been smashed again within two hours. I am seeing my GP at 5pm. @Former-Member I saw you floating around the forums. Will you ride the waves with me today?

I am floating around today 🙂 so I am here with you riding this big heavy wave out, it's a big one.

I am just over here, with some tiny friends who seem to be cleaning my shell after the weekend and are the coolest shade of yellow, they are a bit too close for you so maybe just check them out from a far 😉

Glad you had that appointment this morning
