Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Trying to sleep on a pause button is so hard. I feel sad that mango didn't check in. I feel super alone right now.

Morning @Phoenix_Rising. I know you're probably not here but I wanted to remind you that if you felt like being here, I am here even when I am not and when you are not too. And even if you don't feel like being here, I can be here and there and not here and there if you'd like.

Have you heard of Ty Beanie boos? They're the guys with the enormous sparkly eyes. My LF collected a few while we were away in hiding. Some of their people picked them up some and gave them to them when we had random missions out and about to meet up, so they felt less alone. It started a bit of a thing for others who were also staying away in hiding. All of us together ended up with a bit of a collection and it helped everyone feel less alone. So I thought I'd drop some of these off today for you

I like this metaphor of riding a wave.
In my experience it can but a nice place but also scary when you can’t touch the bottom.
I think it’s always safer to have someone looking out for you either in the water or on the shore.
I’m not very good at letting people know I’m going in for a dip 😩

Hey @Catcakes ☺ It's nice to see you again. The waves can definitely get a bit hard and overwhelming sometimes.

It can be a little quiet here on the weekends, but there is almost always someone around if you'd like to chat or have some company. Feel free to shout out if you think you would.

I’m ok today. Pinched someone’s iPad to I could replace that ugly grey silhouette with something more me.
Having a quiet day, lazing about in between chores. Have walked my doggy and cleaned up a bit.
Just looking in on the forums to get a feel for weekends versus weekdays.
