Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Re: Riding a wave

I'm so confused @Zoe7. I am so superly duperly not trying to cause trouble. I chose to become a
CG because I think Forum Land is the most amazing resource I have ever found and I wanted to be a part of that. I thought that my values and those espoused by SANE were super well aligned. How has this all gone so wrong so quickly??? I feel so so SO confused.

No we shouldn't @Former-Member and to be honest with you - it isn't the first time I have felt like this -I so wish Nik was here too now

I thought so too @Phoenix_Rising - now I am not so sure!

Re: Riding a wave

Just stopping in to say that I have heard you @Phoenix_Rising ...... but I need to go back and read my Inbox to understand what has happened. I am feeling a bit unwell, and grabbing a quick bite to eat with my girls, but I am around, and will be back a bit later ....,,

Please bunker down in the underwater cave until we can look at rebuilding bridges ..... and there will be bridges to build ..... I am sure of it ...... and we will be amongst the best bridge-builders in the world by the end of it all .......

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7 This afternoon when I was feeling ok (before seeing that the guides had been edited), I was thinking about how two weeks felt like years to wait for NikNik to get home...and then my next thought was that I am just like Jay and his agonizing wait to get back to RO. The only difference here is that our muddle seems to be getting bigger at such a rapid rate, it is terrifying to think how much more harm might be done in the next two weeks.

Please look after yourself first @Faith-and-Hope

Re: Riding a wave

We are ina no-win situation now @Phoenix_Rising - if anyone tries to 'fix' anything it will only further add to the incredibly large muddle - but if nothing is 'fixed' then the muddle will continue to simmer, just below the surface, ready to explode at any time!

Re: Riding a wave

@Faith-and-Hope I am SUPER happy to see you...but as zoe said, it's ok if you are feeling too unwell to visit Forum Land tonight. As I just said to CheerBear, this mess sure as heck isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Re: Riding a wave

Hi @Phoenix_Rising, @Zoe7, @CheerBear, @Former-Member and @Faith-and-Hope,

I'm not sure that I can say anything tonight that is going to help with the muddle but I am reading along and hearing you all. Given that I am not able to give any clarification or answers tonight, is there anything that is going to help sitting with this tonight or over the weekend?

Re: Riding a wave

No there really isn't from my point of view @Former-Member - and I am really sorry that you and other mods have been caught up in this - it is not fair on you guys either.
