I super like the gifts @Zoe7. Super big thank you for remembering that stories are helpful for big feelings. That is the best new tool I've found for ages - clever @CheerBear.

At least the giant icky invalidated feelings swamped the shame feelings I had earlier @Former-Member - how's THAT for a positive reframe!

Earlier I was getting big shame feelings for being me. To counter them I was telling myself:

• I am totally ok just as I am.
• What other people think of me is none of my business (I super like that one).
• I don't need everyone in the world to like me.
• Some people seem to like me (like CheerBear, Bookish and Zoe7).

And now my shame feelings have passed. I am Phoenix_Rising. My favourite movie is Finding Nemo. My favourite book right now is Oh The Places You'll Go. My favourite CD is Bob the Builder. I love to snuggle in my shell in CheerBear's pocket while she snuggles in her blanket in her nest in the inner sanctum in an underwater cave located a thousand miles (and a sharp left and a deep dive) off the coast of Forum Land. When I go shopping, I love riding the trolley down the aisles. I have super awesome Finding Nemo curtains hanging in my bedroom. I have a toy turtle that I cuddle a lot and carry around with me. AND I AM ABSOLUTELY 100% TOTALLY OK JUST AS I AM. There are 7.5 billion people on this planet and yet I am the only one who can be me. That makes me super awesome.
