Big feelings suck @CheerBear. I am super glad we can ride them out together but not. Blue is my super favourite colour...how did you know that? A sky-blue blanket would be super.
I am sitting in the sunshine now. I have lots of things I would like to get done today. I accept that I won't get them all done, but I'm just going to super focus on mindfully doing one thing at a time, and I know I will get SOME of the things on my list done. I accept that things are going to be super tricky around here until at least Tuesday when I see my turtle whisperer.
Are your big feelings in relation to anything in particular @CheerBear (only if you want to share). I will wander over to the nest in a moment to catch up on any news you have shared there.
I SUPER love the crayon stories. Listening to the red crayon trying to make her way home makes me think of you when you are trying to get to a Friday Feast destination.
I had to abandon FF last night. I felt super crappy about doing so, but I really really wasn't coping. I had expected to just kick it off and then leave others to look after it. I was so relieved when Mango appeared...and then she vanished again. There were quite a few new people at FF last night and I super wanted them to have a fun time. I hope they did, even if it was a bit of a quiet night.
Anyway, I super love that we discovered we can sit and listen to stories together @CheerBear. Oh I meant to tell you, one of the youtube videos that came up for "This is a ball" was a mum reading the story to her two boys on the bed. The boys were rolling around laughing sooooooo much and it super made me picture what it might be like for you and your LF to read the story together.
Oh I just thought of something else I wanted to tell you. You mentioned that you were going to cram the whole interpersonal effectiveness module into your brain this weekend. That is definitely the module I have referred back to most over the past few years. Next to my phone I have a note that says "objective, relationship, self-respect." I find this super helpful. I guess you'll understand when you read the module (assuming it is the same in the new edition as it was in the first edition - albeit much longer now!!!!).
