Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

@Maggie, it's ok, I don't need to hang on tight - I just let go and ride the waves. I'm a sea turtle you know. The waves will pass. They are just big feelings - superly duperly gigantically big feelings. They will pass, the ocean will settle, and then I'll just keep swimming and find my way back into famililar waters.

@Phoenix_Rising You are lucky to be a sea turtle and ride the waves, I'm a skittle in a bowling alley. I get up and theres another ball headed full speed ahead to knock me down again. I keep getting up though..eventually. See you on the beach...eventually.

@CheerBear @Former-Member and everyone else on the ocean this evening. I am declaring today a write-off. I spoke to my turtle whisperer and we agreed that nothing in the world is going to settle the big feelings tonight. I just need to take some only-in-emergencies medication, snuggle into my shell, ride the waves, and try again tomorrow. Yay for not living on Venus!!! Night.

Hi @Phoenix_Rising,

I'm sorry to hear that there are gigantic feelings happening for you tonight. I'm glad that you got to speak with your turtle whisperer and come up with a plan for the night. It's completely okay to have today as a write-off and start again fresh tomorrow. I hope tomorrow is a better day but for tonight I am watching over the ocean waiting for calmer seas on the horizon.
