Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

Haha thank you @Phoenix_Rising that is very interesting that therapist-take-eleven said that, really shows how helpful having a kind of connection with someone does help (even if it's over the phone)!

I wish you goodluck connecting with only just meeting therapist-take-twelve today 🙂 keep us updated, cuddle lil turtle and dr havetodo okay! Thinking of you 🙂

p.s. don't mention the moon and underpants thing today, might be too soon haha although the eclipse and big underwear might need to be discussed later, even I am not sure what exactly an eclipse is, perhaps it's when the sun wears underpants too?

@Former-Member ROFL. That's very good advice: Note to self, do not ask therapist-take-twelve for help with intrusive thoughts regarding the moon (and possibly also the sun) wearing underpants, during first session.

Re: Riding a wave

I found her!!!!! I found her, I found her, I found her!!!!! Finally FINALLY I have found a psychologist who speaks fluent turtle just as well as (K) did. I found her, I found her, I found her, I FOUND HER!!!!!!! Two years after the final showdown with Fred, eleven failed attempts with less-than-ideal therapists, and oh-so-very-many gigantic storms...and I have found her!!!!!!!!

Right now I am the happiest and calmest little turtle in the whole wide world. I know it is going to take about a bazillion years to unmuddle the muddle and I know there are going to be a lot of super gigantic bumps along the way, but right now, all I care about is that therapist-take-twelve speaks fluent turtle. We can COMMUNICATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy happy HAPPY turtle.

Oh and by the way, therapist-take-twelve's name is (M).

Yippee for you @Phoenix_Rising. I hope the sessions you have with M (sounds like a character from a James Bond movie) are really productive. You seem really pleased - just the impression I get.

ROFL @soul. You are right, (M) is a character from James Bond. That thought didn't cross my mind until you pointed it out...and now it is going to be in my brain forever.

That's great @Phoenix_Rising! 😄
I'm very pleased for you, and proud of you for sticking it out for so long and taking the chance on (M).

Re: Riding a wave

Hey @Phoenix_Rising - fun fact.......

M is the 13th letter of the alphabet - if you take one little you away from that number you get 12 - the 12th therapist is the right one - just sayin'......

...and the moral to the story @Zoe7 is of course that we simply do not know what each day will bring. M appeared from a totally unexpected source. I could never have predicted that she would appear in my world. I am glad I stayed alive long enough to find her.

Re: Riding a wave

@Zoe7 Giggle. Well M sure as heck had better not get squished by a bus or anything. Imagine me trying to search for a thirteenth therapist. I'd almost want to pretend the number thirteen didn't exist and just skip straight to fourteen. With all the adventures I've had, I simply don't think I could cope with therapist-the-thirteenth.
