Good evening @CheerBear, I missed you at FF tonight. Hopefully your absence means you are doing something fun out there in the real world. I know you are here even when you are not.
Today the sea is amazingly calm. This morning I was thrown a lifeline that I think has the potential to be quite life changing. It is something that I could never have imagined and it is one of those reminders that we never know what may be just around the corner if we can just keep on keeping on. I can't really say any more about it right now, but yep, it is one of those moments when I am glad that I chose to keep living during the category 5 storm.
I ended up not going to my volunteer gig because I have a darn cold. I hardly ever get physically sick and now this is the second cold I've had this winter. I know it's from spending far too much time in my GP's waiting room. Sick people should be banned from doctors' waiting rooms!!!
Oh well, colds heal much quicker than puddled brains. It will pass in a day or two.
I hope you and the LF have a super fun weekend. This week has been horribly wonky hasn't it. But the storm has now subsided for me, and I super hope things will soon settle for you too. I think I read that you have a challenging week coming up next week. That's ok, we will muddle through it together, moment by moment, wonky bit by wonky bit. Thank you for being such an awesome not-friend. I have been extremely self-absorbed in my own muddle for the past few days, but now with this lifeline thrown to me, I hope to be able to be a bit more giving in Forum Land again. Super big thank you for being my not-friend. Night.
Good night @Former-Member. Thank you for watching over the ocean. Don't forget to feed Mr Polar Bear when you take him home. He will probably want to play in the bath-tub too!
