Something’s not right

Riding a wave

Riding a wave

Hi all,

@CherryBomb, @Former-Member or any other @Former-Member floating around Forum Land, will you ride a wave with me? I thought I would be fine doing something...but it turns out that the something has made my big feelings BIG and now I'm in a pickle...and there's nothing worse than a pickled turtle! I'm going to go and snuggle in my bed so I probably won't actually respond to you, but it will still super help me to know that I am not utterly alone on the wave. I don't want to tag anyone else because I don't want anyone to feel they need to respond. Thank you in advance for riding with me.

@Phoenix_Rising

"I do not matter, anybody can do anything to me, I am invisible, I am worthless". - I believe I wrote nearly these exact words earlier today

How is it that we keep getting stuck in the same scenarios time after time and nothing seems to help?

We are intelligent, caring and articulate people yet nothing we say or do seems to have any bearing on how to solve our 'muddles'!

I do not know how much clearer you could be little turtle! (A) needs to get her head out of the sand and realise that she is not helping you by being so damn INADEQUATE!!!!

...and as for FRED - a narcissist that needed to have control over you in order to make himself feel important - not a healing relationship in any way, shape or form - and he was not right - he was very, very wrong. His attitude and behaviour towards you has created so much of your muddle - and that is unforgivable in any relationship - let alone a professional one

I may not be able to help you much here myself but I would like to stay in the underwater cave for the foreseeable future - if that is ok with you little turtle! At least then I will be close by but not too close - and neither of us will be totally alone!

Re: Riding a wave

Hello little turtle, got you a shell protector to snuggle into for the meantime, we are currently putting together a replacement shell too, so don't worry about that 🙂 @Phoenix_Rising

Re: Riding a wave

Lots of people in Forum Land care about me. All I have to do is close my eyes and snuggle into the hug of one of my safe touching people. I am not alone.

Re: Riding a wave

I also got this for you @Zoe7 to keep you afloat during the big category 5 storm, I think it only just fits in the cave which is lucky, but snuggle down and the boat is there for extra float 🙂

Re: Riding a wave

aww thanks @Former-Member that is very sweet

@Phoenix_Rising can hop in one end and I can be a safe distance at the other end - and we can both floatand breathe together when we can't do anything else

Re: Riding a wave

A gem?! I can understand why you have such big feelings right now @Phoenix_Rising

Keep breathing, keep riding the wave, the muddle will clear and the ocean will calm

Re: Riding a wave

@NikNik @Faith-and-Hope @CheerBear I feel like I have been completely squished by a bus...which was more likely a huge ocean liner given that buses don't tend to be found in the middle of raging oceans. My brain is so puddled, I'm scared it might drip out of my ears. So I am going to now do what any sea turtle would do in this situation. I'm going to go and be a warrior and a tree. If I can do this, then you better have a darn good excuse if you haven't reported in that you have also warriored today, by the time I get over to the yoga thread! {Wanders off to be a wonky warrior and a troubled tree}...

You will find that I "peaceful warriored" over there this morning .....
