Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

Hi @Shaz51 how are you today?

It's grey skies and rain here in the 'Vegas today. I am looking out my loungeroom door and can see my plants which is always something I enjoy.

@TAB @creative_writer how is your day panning out?

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

@GezzaP even having some publications compared is an achievement. I hope you enjoy the footy.

Hi @Shaz51 how are you? 💖

Hi @ENKELI it’s nice to see you. I’ve had a quiet day with meal prep. How has your day been?

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

I just had a home medicine review with a "credentialed pharmacist"

Guidelines here mean I can't say specifically what was discussed. But he agreed that one medication which was prescribed 20 years ago should be reviewed by a doctor

Nice young fellow

Hey @creative_writer how are you going?

My day is going okay, I have a wretched tooth ache but aside from that it's all A-OK in the 'Vegas. Grey skies and rain forecast.

I hope you have a good week xo

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

@ENKELI I’ve been a bit emotional since I’ve been processing things, but I’m holding up okay. I think I need time to reflect.

I hope the toothache settles down soon💖. It’s sunny here in Melbourne, but it’s not going to last.

I just came back from a walk, I think a bird pooped on me, I found streaks of white patches on my jeans

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

@creative_writer processing emotions is always tough isn't it.

Make sure you're being kind to yourself while you go through these feelings.

Every time someone mentions Melbourne I earn a wee bit as I love Melbourne.

Ick! Naughty bird! I was visiting friends in Sydney years back and was trying to look like a normal person for my mates' fiancee when a seagull flew over me and crapped on my shirt! Little horror, I was so mad!

I walked around with a large wet spot on my shirt until it dried out.

Thanks for your good wishes, the pain has gone for now but then I dosed up on pain meds, hoping and praying the pain doesn't return until I can afford to go to the dentist.

Just think, if you'd been getting married and were wearing a bridal gown, being pooped on is supposed to be good luck 😆

@GezzaP hey Gezza, glad you're okay and did things. Enjoy footy. Take care. Hope you will be back at tabuluga soon.

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

@ENKELI I’m taking it slowly. I don’t have much going on in my life right now and have a bit of a break.

Birds will be birds. I didn’t even notice it happening. I chucked my hoodie in the wash just in case. They do say bird poop is good luck, but I would want birds away from formal wear.

I hope the pain doesn’t return. Dentists can be so expensive. I have private health, but that’s so expensive. Expenses add up, so many medical costs while living with complex mental health. One of my meds is not on the PBS

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

@creative_writer yes I have private health cover as well and you're right, it is expensive. Thank you for reminding me, I must review my cover.

I am dreading losing my healthcare card, as you said, having MI is not cheap.

In response to: Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 6th June 2026

@ENKELI I increased my cover so I can get more back, I get dental clean ups covered. It has helped but it does mean I need to pay more every fortnight.

I don’t know what I would do without my healthcare card. Having bipolar is expensive. I am on 4 psych meds now, I had another med added earlier this year
