Hi, just a bit about me: now that I've typed that I actually don't know where to start..
I'm a single woman living alone with my tiny, naughty, spoilt dog.
I have battled with various demons on and off for quite a while. I'm looking to connect to give and receive support.
Now recovering from yucky surgery non-mental health related and keen to become involved in this forum.
I'm very keen to share hope and support where I can.

I'm feeling a bit better today, thanks for asking. Had a good visit with my community support nurse yesterday. She calls me out when I try to evade my reality in a kind, fun and compassionate way.
I'm off to the surgeon later so REALLY hoping to have bandaging removed AND walk free again. Fingers crossed 🤞

I’m glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better today 😊 Your community support nurse sounds really lovely and supportive, especially being able to gently keep you grounded while still making you feel cared for.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you that the appointment goes well and you get the bandaging removed🤞 That must feel exciting after everything.
