Something’s not right

Moody yet Lost

Moody yet Lost

I feel in limbo,

I never feel great, but when I get asked how I can be helped I freeze. I don't know what will make me happy and free from moodiness, my social battery gets depleted quickly, I overthink quickly and I have been diagnosed with adjustment disorder

It's possible. Finding little ways to manage the potential overwhelm.

For example, when I feel I'm at the point of overwhelm, I stop and start writing a list of things I have to do. I need to physically write it so I can cross it off. I've tried making a list on my phone, but it doesn't work as well.

I have a lot less anxiety once I 'see' everything i need to do. I also ensure I write 1-2 things that I've already really done so I can see it ticked off.

So finding these little small things can make a huge difference.

@moodyahhhhh, yeah, a change of scenery will be therapeutic in its own right. Staying cooped up at home will only cause you to feel trapped with those thoughts. Sports aren't for everyone; that's why it's great that exercise comes in many forms. I'm sure you can explore with time and find what works best for you after a few walks get you more motivated.

Let us know how the walks go. 🙂

Fortunately grow groups are free. You can make a donation when you attend regularly e.g. $5 but first month is free. You can find them on the grow website. They have been running for more than forty years and is not for everyone but can be good if you have time. Only two hour meeting a week. You can remain anonymous e.g. first name only.
