Re: Medical Terminology

@Former-Member, this is going to probably sound really dumb, but do you meditate at all? When I found myself losing my mojo for study, I emailed my teacher quickly and together we worked on finding motivation again. I found meditation helpful, especially guided visualisations (but different meditations work for different people). It really helped me focus and put me in a good headspace for study.

I hope we can find out something to boost your mojo again!

Re: Medical Terminology

@Former-Member,
One thing I do is remind myself why I'm studying in the oat place.
I have job advertisements for jobs I want to do and I keep pictures of what study means to me and pin them both at my desk.
I also have a study space, kinda like for sleep you keep your bed for sleeping only, I keep my study space for study only so I'm not tempted to procrastinate.
I also agree that meditation can help lots too.
Have you made contact with your lecturer and explained your difficulties?

Re: Medical Terminology

@Former-Member are you able to creat a study space at all? Having a set space for your learning can help get your mojo back 🙂

Re: Medical Terminology

Ironing boards come in handy for makeshift desks @Former-Member. 2nd hand shops often have them. Take the fabric cover off. You'll sort it out, try not to give up. Pleased to hear you plan to catch up a little study today. 🙂
