Re: Medical Terminology

It affects the way the baby grows and develops.
Look up thalidomide and folic acid in pregnancy. Both have an impact on the way the baby grows and develops and results in deformations in the baby.

Re: Medical Terminology

I can't tell you what to do, cause I'm not in your individual circumstances. But have you thought of telling them that you have a chronic illness and are finding it tough right now?
I have a system set up at my uni, where I can easily get assignment extensions when I'm unwell so I can get through the semester. But I also withdrew last semester cause I was so ill.
So talk to them and see if help/support is available and then reassess your options.

Re: Medical Terminology

Sorry if that sounded short/rude, I'm in a bit of a rush.
But I believe you'll succeed at this course, Be it this semester or the next. Do what is right for you.

Re: Medical Terminology

Maybe take a 2day break away, clear your head and you'll come back with dig perspective. Persistence is the key, an hour or two evey day, then do other things. Don't let it control you. Its amazing what the Brain processes when we take a breather. Whatever you decide 🙂

Re: Medical Terminology

@Former-Member I'd be emailing your teacher sooner rather than later before things become too difficult to catch up. Don't forget to explain your situation with your teacher (tell them you have a chronic health condition if you wish) and the best tip is to be honest. Most good teachers are willing to support students with mental health issues (mine did when I studied mental health, counselling and youth work). As @Former-Member has said you might be able to get extensions for your assignments.

Don't drop out unless you absolutely want to because I'd hate for you to regret it later and lose mojo for future study.
