Service Refusal

How do people deal with service refusal. I have been really struggling, Sane won’t let me access the recovery club and it just makes me even more depressed.

Re: Service Refusal

Good morning @HM2701 😊

I just logged on and saw your post; I thought I would jump in and say Hello. Firstly, welcome to the SANE forums, it's great to have you here with us. The forums community is a lovely bunch of supportive people who share their stories, experiences, coping strategies and more!

You might like to check out these threads and introduce yourself:

I'm not able to comment on why you haven't been accepted into the Recovery Club as it's not my area and I don't have that info, but I would recommend sending an email to enquire.

You can email getsupport@sane.org.

There is also the feedback and complaints form here: Feedback and complaints policy

If you felt like completing that form someone will get back to you in regard to your feedback and concerns.

I'm sorry you're feeling depressed, I want you to know you're not alone. You have the forums community here and we're glad to have you here with us. Thank you for sharing so openly and honestly, that's not always easy to do.

Sending you all my best.

Re: Service Refusal

Hey @HM2701

I just wanted to stop by and welcome you to the community as well. I'm one of the Peer Guides here (just waiting for the badge change on here.) 💚

I am so sorry to hear you're feeling so low after that news. It's incredibly tough when you're already struggling, and it feels like a door has been closed right in front of your face. I understand that sense of 'service refusal' can be deeply personal and rather discouraging.

While I don't have any answers regarding the Recovery Club side of things either, I did want to let you know that you are very much welcome in this space.

What has your day been like otherwise? We're here to listen if you want to share more about what's on your mind 💚
