Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

I realise how little i mean to people. i mean nothing.
its abit like walking down a long dark street never knowing when a light might flick on to show me the way or give me some hope.
im tired of trying. tired of hoping. tired of coping. tired of exisiting. tired of breathing. i think im done.
dear everyone that knows me, im sorry im such a disapointment. im sorry i cant live up to your expectations. im sorry i was born. im sorry if ive hurt you. im sorry if ive made you miserable. i deserve all the blame and hatred i have gotten. everything is my fault and im sorry.
im locked within the walls of my own minds and i just cant escape it.
Pain. Pain all the time. It runs through my veins a fast flowing river with nothing there to stop it.
Just get over it they say. i wish i could, im living minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. im struggling with memories that haunt me everyday and i dont think they will ever fade.
my thoughts are overwhelming and what hurts me the most is when people pretend to care but really they dont.
im so scared. things just arent the same anymore. im not doing anything right anymore. ive lsot myself, the person i once knew isnt here anymore. i dont know what to do anymore. i feel like i dont belong here or in reality. no where. i have constant feelings of being unworthy and hopeless, of being a prisioner in my own body.
i have so much pain physically and mentally. i try to stay happy. i try to keep smiling. i try to be brave. i try to be stong. i try to act like everything is ok but im far from it.
i never know when im going to have a 'good' day and at any minute im triggered and takes such a long time to recover.
there are monsters living inside me, attacking me, ripping me apart from the inside. i dont think its ever going to end
but its ok "ill just have to get over it" just as expected

lol oh yes @Former-Member ... I know what its like trying to work and mind kids!! I usually make deals with mine... like if i get an hour to do... then later we'll.... But also set them up with something to do (a movie or game/toys etc. I also have a rule whlle im working that i've set a time for i.e. an hour or half an hour that they can NOT interrupt me unless 1. the house is on fire. 2. they are bl#eding! lol So we do a snack before hand etc. I will have to put on my holiday activities ideas hat for you 🙂 <br>hugs

Haha @Former-Member i am seriously laughing. We have similar "Do not disturb" conversations. It's "blood, glass, fire or LOTS of water (thanks to a number of 'water fun' moments).

Sounds like your appointment went ok @Former-Member. Well done on getting to it and working through some tricky things

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Hi @Former-Member

Studying with kids around can be really trying - I did a lot of studying when my kids were young and my son had some kind of MI and needed my time so I did all my studying and all my chores when he was out of the house

It would be fine after school if I had finished as much as was necessary - if I had my mind somewhere else I had him right in my face and I have no idea how he knew that - but then - he was very clever in some way and who knows?....................

Anyway - how much time do you spend with your sister's kids - are they your responsibility for part of the day or week or whatever - cause if that is the case then you have to plan it - but I wonder why it is a problem - not because you feel that it is your responsiblity or if it is hard to study when they are about

For me studying kept me going throuogh the hard parts with my son - even though so many people told me to give up my studies - but during school holidays (if they did not occur the same time as university break) - they were still my responsibility - so that has to be planned

All the best with that - I can give you hints if you like

Don't you see your regular psych after this program @Former-Member? Or is there another change as well? Sorry your foot is hurting. Heat pack or some ice maybe?

hi @Owlunar

when the kids are at school i tend to get all my study done during the day if you dont mind id love some study tips but maybe could you post it on my study thread? which is under: 6 weeks until my final exam :), they are my sisters not my sisters kids 🙂

as mum works ill have them for most of the time during the holidays which is going to make it extremley hard to get to my gp, psych and other appointments.

when they are at school i have them in the morning to get them ready, i often pick them up and have them after school, as i am living with them at the moment even when mum is hope im still constanlty caring for them, my mum also often word one day of the weekend so i have them then as well and she words the other day but only in the morning so i have them until 9am and then we spend time as a family so again im looking after them.

im also a full timer carer for my pop as well as studying and trying to work out my Mental health issues

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

ive torn a tendon and a 2 ligaments in my foot and it still hasnt healed and when it gets cold or i do alot of activity or if if i slip or walking down hill it tends to get like this all the time!! @CheerBear

@Owlunar @CheerBearok so i had a psychologist to start with but it was casuing so many dramas with my mum it was actually making me more worse from the continuous arguments from going and still not supporting me even though ive changed. then i started with a new psychologist and had 2 sessions with her and she said to get into the suicidal prevention program so thats where ive been for the past month and the rest of this month as i only get two months in the program so thats the third cousnsellor and as i pay a heap for my psychologist and i dont really get that mcuh from the medicare rebate its really expensive for me and as i only have 4 sessions left this year for the rebate scheme so then ill be going once a fortnight if i can afford it as then ill be paying the full amount

so im trying to find someone who can specialise in what i need but who is slightly cheaper. i was told by my counsellor today there is a free program that i get another 12 fress sessions with a psychologist if i pass for elidgability but my psych is 100 percent sure that ill get in as shes had people less severe than what i am and they got in. so now i have to either find another psych or try to go through this other program and keep saving

Hi @Former-Member

Your study load is considerable - wow - you need to have more time that you have really - but our lives are what they are alas - and I really have to admire what you are doing

But something flicks in my mind - I went to nightschool after I left high school - at year 10 - and my little sister was just a little girl - according to my mother - and I was not given the time and quiet I really needed unless my father was at home - and he was the eldest in his family and went to night school too so he would put his foot down that little sis could keep her radio on a volume less clearly audible three rooms away

And you have your dad to care for - wow -

If I can find your thread I will write some ideas about studying when you have other people about - if I don't find it soon please tag me -

You will succeed in your life whatever happens because you are doing this now - and not putting it off until things are easier because they never get that way - wow - I hope your Mum pays you a bit for baby sitting - I paid my daughter when she did the vacuuming for me when I was working two jobs and studying

But if your dad is sick I know your mum has to work -

We have a common problem with little sisters though -
