Friday Coffee and Chat -- 13th March 2026

@Mustang67 you know what he was not a nice person at all in many ways. but it was confusing because at times he could be nice and then other times quite cruel. it was a roller coaster which i think is worse than being entirely awful. it did make my relationship with males and indeed females too just people in general rocky. i didnt like them really for years. i didnt trust them. it wasnt until i met my ex that i saw a different side. my ex is a good man but as a friend i like being single.

@Bunniekins this is why I am worried about my daughter living with her father, as he is not a nice person either. But she has already said to me, that he is not going to harden her heart to the point that she no longer cares. Or change who she is in any way. As I have learnt the lessons, that I should have learnt as a child, I make sure that I give her the knowledge as well. These days the schools teach a lot of that stuff like boundaries and core values etc.

As soon as we find a rental, I want to move her in, but it could be tricky since she is doing year 12 this year and lives way out north. When I used to visit her when living in the cabin at the caravan park, it used to be a 2 hour round trip to see her. So I don't know if changing schools is really a good idea at a critical time of her schooling.

@Mustang67 that's tough re daughter. she sounds very level headed though. you know what though i believe in the universe finally sorting things out for the better. maybe i am too philosophical idk but things generally work out ok in the end even if it is a bumpy ride getting there.

@Bunniekins I tend to believe that, but with my housing situation, at the moment, I am not so sure. It is hard to see a positive light at the end of the tunnel when we are in a housing crisis and so many people are applying for the same rental property. but I have just got to have faith that it will turn out for the best.

As my sister said, I am better off not in the cabin, as it had black mould in the bedroom and I was constantly breathing that in. And I do feel a lot better since leaving the cabin. So it was probably a god send in the end.

@Mustang67 it will be okay hunny. i know it is hard but things will work out. i am the eternal optimist.
