Something’s not right

Does it ever stop

Does it ever stop

Hey - I feel like I can’t escape how I feel, how I react to things, how flashbacks and people I see that have caused me trauma in the past and present. I feel like I’m just trapped in it some days constantly and that it just wants to stay and haunt me and not leave.

my house mates have been arguing constantly and it got to a point tonight where I yelled at them to stop as it is getting annoying as it’s nearly everyday and it never stops. Then one of them had a go at me and started yelling and telling me that it’s the other persons fault when it wasn’t even them. It’s just a constant run around and I can’t seem to escape it.

im just now curled up on my bed in tears because I’m so triggered and I don’t know what or how I’m feeling.

im safe

but it’s just bringing up all my past all over again.

@Anonymouse1000 - it really does, I dislike what the community MH team have put in my Enhanced risk response plan for the hospital, they just made it worse and made me more upset, I feel like they don’t understand trauma and BPD. Like how am I supposed to know if I’m going to be ok or not. If I’m going to be struggling with my thoughts. How do I know if I’m going to need an admission or not.

they basically have pushed everything I have suggested to the side. But yeah. I feel so alone in this situation.

@tyme - am safe

@Fluttershy1

You are safe, and that's the most important thing. Hopefully you feel safe as well. I'm glad you got to go out and get some retail therapy it sounds like you still have some very supportive people around you!

@tyme - I have a question, how do I get the trigger warning labels just out of curiosity in case I need to use it.

Thank you for letting us know about what support you are looking for @Fluttershy1 . It always helps to know so everyone is on the same page.

I haven't read back on posts yet, but what's happening for you nowadays? It feels like at least 6 months that I haven't seen you. Weren't you thinking about studying before? My apologies in advance if I got this wrong.

Are you using a phone or a computer?

Unfortunately, phones do not allow a trigger warning to be added.

If you are posting from a computer, then you can click on the "..." to expand the bar above, highlight the text you want in a trigger warning box and then press the triangle symbol.

Of course... whats you favourite thing in the whole world? It can be a book, a particular piece of music or an interest... what do you absolutely love doing?

Re: Does it ever stop

Hey @tyme - take a read back, I didn’t end up going back to study as I had to leave home at the end of last year or I basically was going to be kicked out.

I had more trauma happen, got SA, and other stuff happened with family and had to leave quite quickly. My ex got involved again and it didn’t go down well, I had multiple attempts last year and was constantly sectioned.

also had to get a new NDIS team, my meds got changed, getting used to living out of home, been trying to deal with a lot, I wanna write more but I’m scared that I will breach guidelines.

am safe now though

Yes! It's totally not your fault! I've asked IT in the past and they said that because the phone version is the simplified version, it doesn't have the function @Fluttershy1
