Something’s not right

Does it ever stop

Does it ever stop

Hey - I feel like I can’t escape how I feel, how I react to things, how flashbacks and people I see that have caused me trauma in the past and present. I feel like I’m just trapped in it some days constantly and that it just wants to stay and haunt me and not leave.

my house mates have been arguing constantly and it got to a point tonight where I yelled at them to stop as it is getting annoying as it’s nearly everyday and it never stops. Then one of them had a go at me and started yelling and telling me that it’s the other persons fault when it wasn’t even them. It’s just a constant run around and I can’t seem to escape it.

im just now curled up on my bed in tears because I’m so triggered and I don’t know what or how I’m feeling.

im safe

but it’s just bringing up all my past all over again.

@Fluttershy1 the mental health system has a a long way to go to meet the needs of consumers.

Re: Does it ever stop

@Fluttershy1 maybe it's worth keeping a little bag packed with some fidgets/crafts that you can do in hospital just in case you need to go in. I always have a bag packed that is easy to grab cos I get agitated easily if I don't have something to focus on and keep myself busy.

Hoping you don't have to see her and that you get to go home soon sweet.

@MissGremlin @creative_writer - so ready to walk out, I’m just fed up with the wait and the way they treat me. They are like we will see in in 10 mins it’s been longer than 10 mins and I’m still here waiting.

@Fluttershy1 i hear you sweet, i know waiting can be so hard and frustrating.

Re: Does it ever stop

@Fluttershy1 i know this might sounds harsh to you right now but having gone through this kind of treatment so often it is best not to rely on others to help out but rather to try and stabilise the rising anxiety, frustrations, hopelessness and anger at the empty promises.

When we are in crisis we need stability and if we cannot find that outside of ourselves we must find it within or we will break down.

The last time i was overcome by bad treatments i aired my frustration at the hospital staff and promptly got black listed after that. Which at the time only made things so much worse.

Hoping you can find some peace within yourself and find a calmer spot than you are now.🤗

Oh I gave the one I don’t like not the best of times I walked off on her, who’s knows if she took me off the system or not. @MissGremlin @DownMoreThanUp - i don’t cope well with her as she is super judgemental and always tells me I’m lonely and etc.

I just can’t handle her. I’m safe

@Fluttershy1 I'm sorry you got the one that you didn't want sweet. Is it possible to speak to someone to tell them how you feel about having her? You deserve to get support while you are feeling like this.

Re: Does it ever stop

I’m still on the system thankfully @MissGremlin - but I don’t know if I’ll get seen or not either the scene I caused. I threw a pretty big fit over it because i didn’t want anything to do with that clinician

@Fluttershy1 whilst it's not an ideal situation, they still have a duty of care to support you sweet. I'm hoping they can have another person come to see you.

@MissGremlin - they don’t really care - it’s a constant fight with them. I’m safe but I’m just beside myself, things are just hard rn. But I’m safe
