Does it ever stop

Hey - I feel like I can’t escape how I feel, how I react to things, how flashbacks and people I see that have caused me trauma in the past and present. I feel like I’m just trapped in it some days constantly and that it just wants to stay and haunt me and not leave.

my house mates have been arguing constantly and it got to a point tonight where I yelled at them to stop as it is getting annoying as it’s nearly everyday and it never stops. Then one of them had a go at me and started yelling and telling me that it’s the other persons fault when it wasn’t even them. It’s just a constant run around and I can’t seem to escape it.

im just now curled up on my bed in tears because I’m so triggered and I don’t know what or how I’m feeling.

im safe

but it’s just bringing up all my past all over again.

things have been very rocky over the last few days hence why I haven’t been about lately, been working on myself and keeping myself grounded. Been several triggers and really just struggling with sleep and my physical health along with my mental health.

Been keeping busy though with watching movies building flat packs and playing with nova, also been into my crafts & moving my room around and making it look very pretty.

Nova is doing well, she’s getting bigger, chewing cords but I tell her no and she now walks off. Lots of playing, she got a now scratching post the other day. So she loves that.

A week out of ER tomorrow and I’m so damn impressed with the week I’ve had.

It's nice to hear from you. I'm sorry you've had a rough few days, it can take a toll on you but good on you for trying to keep yourself grounded.

I'm glad you've found some ways to keep yourself busy while you're going through all of this 💛

So good to hear Nova is doing well and that she's listening to you, they can be so cheeky when they're little haha. Love the pics, she reminds me of Nala when she was little 🤣
