Something’s not right

Does it ever stop

Does it ever stop

Hey - I feel like I can’t escape how I feel, how I react to things, how flashbacks and people I see that have caused me trauma in the past and present. I feel like I’m just trapped in it some days constantly and that it just wants to stay and haunt me and not leave.

my house mates have been arguing constantly and it got to a point tonight where I yelled at them to stop as it is getting annoying as it’s nearly everyday and it never stops. Then one of them had a go at me and started yelling and telling me that it’s the other persons fault when it wasn’t even them. It’s just a constant run around and I can’t seem to escape it.

im just now curled up on my bed in tears because I’m so triggered and I don’t know what or how I’m feeling.

im safe

but it’s just bringing up all my past all over again.

@Fluttershy1 I'm glad you feel safe there sweet. Being able to be yourself even if it's only to an extent is better than having to mask constantly.

Hello @MissGremlin @TAB @Appleblossom @Nala2022 @tyme @AuntGlow @Jynx @Honeymoon @NightHedgehog - moved into my bungalow tonight so I’m happy , feels safe and cozy. Did a lot of cleaning. Makes me feel happy because it’s my own place and space. I only need to go inside to use the bathroom and kitchen.

had a very busy day. So I’m tired, got Perry and we are in the bungalow. Chilling out watching the twits on Netflix but probably will go to sleep soon because I’m so tired.

got another busy day tomorrow, got more cleaning to do, got a support worker & I think she might be taking me out for dinner.

Hi @Fluttershy1, I’m sorry for the late reply on your previous responses, I’ve been away for a few days. It’s lovely to hear that you’ve moved into your bungalow and that it’s already feeling safe and cosy for you 💛

It sounds like you’ve put a lot of work into getting things set up and cleaned, so it makes sense that you’re feeling tired after such a busy day. Having a space that feels like your own can make a real difference, especially when it gives you a sense of comfort and calm.

I’m glad you’ve got Perry there with you while you settle in. It sounds like you have some nice things to look forward to today as well, even with more cleaning on the agenda.

I hope you were able to get some restful sleep after such a big day 😊
