Hi everyone and I hope your week has been a good one.

I am cutting back on my coffee intake as the premade flavoured coffees have too much sugar and I have to cut out sugar. In the meantime I will just have to get the coffee machine out and start making cappuccinos again with low fat milk.

Aside from cows' milk, does anybody use another type of "milk"? I don't like soy and I'm interested in trying unsweetened almond milk but would like to hear from others who don't use dairy in their coffees.

I use unsweetened almond for coffees @ENKELI . It's not bad at all. It gives it a nutty flavour. But don't be fooled.. it's not 'milk' at all, but pretty much almond water.

I like soy milk. I can drink it just like that but maybe because I grew up on it.

I'm not so keen on rice and oat milk though.

But yes, all the coffees I order out there are all almond milk ones.

Hehe they were I think @tyme pretty relaxed for being inside the dog park 🤣.

Today I saw a sea eagle at the park which was a first, it was very amusing there was a massive racket a lot of birds had there knickers in a knot with its presence 🤣🤣

And ps, never too late to be a bird lover 😅

@tyme thanks darlingheart, that is really helpful. My God daughter used to have to drink soy milk and I could never adjust to the taste of it so always used cows milk.
Lol, we grew up on powdered skim milk! To this day my brother can't stand it! I don't mind it but even that has 5 grams of sugar per serve.

So I will not be expecting a fluffy frothy cappuccino with almond milk!

(I'm trying to negotiate with myself, if I cut out this, this and this, maybe I can have a little bit of moo juice!)

@Chasingsunsets aww thanks! I found a couple of photos of Sam that I thought I'd share -

The first one is Mal aka MM with Sam - they tolerated each other but Mal would run away if Sam started heading toward him.
The second photo is of the lattice work in my backyard that had come down after a storm and I was going to pull it down but Sam decided he liked sitting on it. Until he went to wherever he flew to, I kept that lattice work up!

Aw @ENKELI thanks for sharing!! I love the pics 🥰🥰🥰, look at Sam, beautiful boy. Funny about MM, Sam was the boss then ? Hehe
