Lonely trying to fit in

Lonely trying to fit in

So recently I was talking with someone online over a period of a couple of weeks. I knew they were gay and they knew I wasn't. After chatting for a while things developed into a more intimate conversation. At first I was uncomfortable but it made me feel needed and important and like I could open up. I had thoughts of if I was actually gay and it was very confronting. After a while I realised no, I'm not gay and decided I'm just feeling validated and wanted but also because I knew I had someone who made me feel less vulnerable and I the feeling of me being appreciated for being there for someone. Even when I said that this isn't actually me and I couldn't continue. They were so understanding and kind and caring and comforting and there was no hard feelings at all. Now I'm feeling alone and isolated and I want to reach out to them but I know that's not a healthy thing to do. I just feel like there's no one else to talk to.

@Whaledone1234 I totally understand your frustration in not finding joy in the things that I used to do. I am the same way. My main frustration at the moment is that I finally found a hobby (Coin Collecting) that brings me joy, but I can't sort my collection, as I haven't had any space to do so since I started collecting. I lived in a cabin in a caravan park for 6 years before being kicked out in February and having to find somewhere else to live within two weeks, with a housing crisis going on. I am currently living in a caravan on my mum's property. So even smaller than what I was living in before.

By the sound of your hobbies, you must like the outdoors. I used to like walking in nature as I feel relaxed and like I have found home when I am amongst nature, but due to chronic back pains, I cannot walk for even a couple of minutes without being in a lot of pain.

Where would you go 4x4ing, bush, beach etc. I went once with a friend and nearly shit myself when they arrived at the top of the hill and I couldn't see what was on the other side of it. I definitely put me outside my comfort zone. Lol

What sort of DIY project would you do? What sort of era are you talking about with regards to old cars. I love the muscle era in cars. At the time my favourite was the XC Ford Cobra. I was only 13 or 14 at the time that this was my favourite card. I used to have a Ford jacket with the Cobra transfer on the back.

I hope you have a good evening.

@Mustang67 Sorry to hear about the house problem I hope you find the space to get into your sorting your coin collection soon. It's definitely a good hobby to have and certainly sounds like it could be very time consuming and fulfilling.

DIY, mostly small jobs around the house.

It's definitely scary when the hill is so steep you can't see the ground on the way down.

Thanks again for your replies recently!
