So as part of my 55th birthday present to myself I bought a See Star S50 on Friday 23rd Jan 2026. The first night I was hosting friends so didn’t manage to get outside and the next 3 nights have been cloudy. I woke up at 3:30am this morning and looked outside and could see stars so I set up and got my first two pictures. These are 10 second exposures for a total of 10 minutes each.
This image is from last night. 3minutes of 10 second exposures. It took an hour for 3 minutes of stacking as it kept rejecting frames due to star trails. Carina Nebula
