Nice to hear from you, thank you for your kind words and yes it can absolutely be a dealbreaker. I've been off here for a while, have been going through a few tough weeks, so I've had a bit of a break from applying for jobs. However, I'm starting to feel a bit better now. I did one shift this week at the event job, only half day but it was good, I felt a bit tired and overwhelmed with all the people but it went ok.

I also need some help and advice..I got a call from another job I applied for a while ago and have been invited to an interview next week, it’s a daytime role. Hopefully fingers crossed a suitable position for me!! In the interview confirmation letter, they mentioned wearing “professional attire,” which made me feel a bit freaked out, as I don’t usually dress like that. If I end up getting the job, they provide a uniform which would be great, since I don’t really own those kinds of clothes, based on what I saw when googling. I do have some nicer, clean outfits I’d wear on special occasions. I’ve got some tailored pants somewhere, and a few nicer tops/blouses for special occasions, but I don’t have a blazer or anything like that?! I think I may have gotten a bit caught up in the wording and started overthinking it. I’ve never been invited to an interview where a specific dress code has been mentioned before, so I'm not quite sure what's expected and it's stresses me out. 😲
