going to get very hot here tomorrow with lots of wind.
At the moment we have no fires near us so hoping none start up.
Even the national parks near us have been closed.
I've already been to the shops today so I don't have to go tomorrow

@Shaz51 I hope the rain has stopped and is better in your part of Australia! I’m in a heatwave here in regional Victoria- day 2 with the temperature around 31 at the moment- and have been knitting an adult jumper for charity whilst watching the tennis on tv. It’s meant to be 41 tomorrow which I’m not looking forward to but I’ll cope somehow. I’ve also been dealing with housemate carer dramas as well. Luckily my carer peer worker is calling tomorrow for a catch up which will help me to destress and talk things through. Oh, and I’ll be moving as of next week and the following week after securing funding for part of the move to storage and my new uni accommodation which is a partial relief for me and my mental health.

@Judi9877 that is great news about your new accommodation, I hope your uni studies go well too.
For me in Perth (inland near the Swan Valley) it has cooled down. Last week we had about 4 days of 38. Christmas Day hit 42 so I was glad we were at mums' as she has decent air conditioning. I am planning on getting air con in my house in the next couple of years, depending on how much my dad left in his will. Air con should be automatic in houses in mainland Australia!
I hope you manage to stay cool, knitting in this heat? You are a legend!
