I'm still on holidays and I'm starting to feel a little at a loss with what to do with myself.
Uni starts back on the 12th, and I start my new job on the 1st of Feb. So...I am trying to make the most of the down time, but it's hard when I'm used to the high paced frenetic energy of teaching.

I was a private childcare provider before i was married and using my mum`s house as a base
when i got married I stopped being a childcare provider
boy it was very strange to be home all day and then my husband lost his job
after a while we ended up starting our own cleaning and mowing business
and now today as we are retired ( we retired early because of our health)
thinking what do we do with our days now

It's been two years since I've had Christmas holidays. @Shaz51 I know that life will be super busy again in less than a month and I do need the downtime to recover from burn out...it's just unusual and I find myself yo-yoing back and forth from giving myself permission to rest, to feeling guilty and lazy and terrible about myself for doing it.
It's hard to think about what to do with your days, when you're so used to them being structured and in routine.
