Then I subtract the minutes from 60 which gives me minutes remaining

2 - Wednesday (31/12)

24 - Thursday (1/1)

24 - Friday (2/1)

10 - Saturday (3/1)

Hours

((2+24)+24)+10=60

Minutes

60-42=18

60 hours and 18 minutes

@MissGremlin there’s other places in the cbd like Melbourne central that are kinda safe though so I wouldn’t really be avoiding the cbd as a whole in that sense 😊 plus, the city overall is a great place to go to and have a hang and shop around with. But yeah, at the same time, you would also have to deal with or encounter some weirdos there from time to time

@MJG017 I had not heard of their H2D model so I just looked it up. OMG I am happy-jealous! 😍 Dual-nozzle is cool, but it can have a laser cutter too??? OMG I really would love to have a laser-cutter. Why? because of making complex pop-up cards 🤣. I have a book with patterns for them, and did 2 by hand but ouch they took ages and I got hand cramps. I know there are things like a Cricut that cut paper, but they don't always do it as well as sometimes rip or peel, hence a laser cutter is ideal for highly detailed bits.

Just checked your profile pics and can see (what I assume to be) some of your prints. 😍

Yeah, I do tend to travel a lot of places @MissGremlin @Blackcloud 😂🤣 (self-implying that I am a weirdo you may meet hahaha). Don't worry - I am not publically a weirdo, so you wouldn't see me as one. 🙂 It's only when people get to know my interests & thoughts on some things that people realise I can be a little weird in a good way.

Ok, I need people to be proud of me now and celebrate and tell me how amazing I am.

On the 1st of January 2025 I began the mammoth journey of writing one poem a day for the entire year as a manuscript I hope to present to publishers.

It is Wednesday the 31st December 2025 and I can tell you that I've succeeded.

So without further ado I present the final poem for 2025

Can you believe it's the final day?

The final poem this year

people saying I couldn't do it

that I would just give up

Twelve months ago I decided

to do the extraordinary

when life threw it's curve balls

like being in hospital

three hundred and sixty five poems

over three hundred and sixty five days

a story, an expression

a year in poetry

where nothing is held back

my emotions raw and true

some with graphic details

of all God's brought me through

others fun and playful

with collections held within

Psalm a hundred and thirty-nine

and learning the old testament

it gives you an honest glimpse

into the ups and downs of trauma

what my life is like

and some regular routines

it has brought me a long way

helped improve my mood

helped me feel heard

and more understood

it's given people insights

into what makes me unique

it shows them my character

and my tenacity

with freedom within its pages

understanding in it's words

a soul touched by God

enough to give me hope

I pray that you're inspired

I pray it helps you see

beyond others expectations

into all that you can be

I can't help sorry, I just want to go to sleep and never wake up. No one cares what I think anyway.

I am safe but don't want to be.

Oh my sweet @avant-garde, I'm so very proud of you in many ways. This is a huge accomplishment, well done. I've absolutely loved going through this journey with you. You are so amazing with your writing, thankyou for sharing your poetry with me and the community here ❤️.
