Tuesday Coffee and Chat -- 30th December 2025

I always struggle with this time of year and knew for months that given events I’ve had happen to me in 2025 this one would be harder than usual, so I’ve tried my best to prepare but it’s still very intense emotionally. Seemed to be doing okay with Christmas so far keeping myself busy then had an unexpected break in distractions yesterday so just completely broke down and felt incredibly triggered suddenly. Everything’s hitting me like a tonne of bricks today, I hope I’m not like this for NYE which seems to be getting to me more than Christmas for some reason

Last few years I’ve spent NYE at home since we always see fireworks from every angle here but might see if there’s any of the early displays nearby worth going out to see

my husband has not been well and decided we were not going anywhere for Christmas and new year this year

I've just got one cat at the moment that I rescued. Shes a little angel @Shaz51 She did have another cat friend looking for me to take care of them too. Maybe just stick to one cat lol

@DownMoreThanUp oh what a beautiful song thank you that genuinely is really helpful ❤️ I heard a song last night with lyrics that were quite depressing and triggering which definitely didn’t help my mental state so it’ll be good to try and have this song in my head instead

I've just woken up from an accidental nap. I have coffee and a handful of cherries. I'm feeling kind of off this afternoon @Shaz51 but can't really figure out why or what's going on. I'll be right though.
