Cricket - the match after Boxing Day test was cancel due to 'poor pitch. The has never happened before. One go my neighbours canceled a trip to Queensland. Cricket Australia lost millions of dollars. The pitch needs triage 🙂

@PinkFloyd wow! That is incredible. I feel sorry for your friend and others who had planned to attend the cricket as a holiday trip and had to cancel 😢.
I never think of travel insurance for domestic holidays, to cover the cost of a cancelled event/function or illness. I guess i dont travel much domestically though except to visit family. But i did recently nearly have to cancel one due to illness - thankfully i was well enough to still catch the bus/train though by the day before. Phew!
