I hope your day is tolerable

I had a huge meltdown last night, lots of tears, to the point of not having control over my breath. I woke up feeling exhausted and fragile.

I'm spending Christmas with my Mum and Dad. And I started to remind myself to be grateful that I have people around me this year, especially given that I spent Christmas on my own last year. It didn't feel particularly kind or gentle to myself though, because it's okay for me to feel what I need to feel today.

I've been to see my brother and his family. It's tough because my brother and his wife are fighting with my parents and they're not with us for lunch and dinner.

I had a surprise pop in visit from my older half brother. I haven't seen him in five years...it's complicated.

I lost my Grandfather a couple of months ago, so grief is a big thing for me this Christmas.

I am not having the best day. It’s been rough and forums are quiet.

Hey guys,

I am sorry if today is not going too well. Hubby and I are cooking today. Our Christmas won’t start until tonight when the kids come for dinner. We are not exchanging gifts this year as the boys are saving for weddings. It will be lovely to spend time with our kids. We don’t see them too often anymore because they lead busy lives.

Yes our S3 and family were coming up but headed up they could not , so hopefully later

@Oaktree It’s Ok. All I can do is hope for better days ahead. This taper and life events has really got me in a bad place.

Im really glad you’ve got family dinner today. It makes me happy when others have that plus weddings coming up. I love weddings such happy occasions.
