@Flutterbug9 I got out a kit with instructions & supplies for calligraphy. I haven't done it before. But it would be useful for when making paper-craft things with writing on it. I have a few different kits with a few different style pens, so I picked the easiest-looking no-mess one.
It is good having a number of different people here I can talk to, although there are only a handful that like yourself actively seek me out & how I am doing (unless I am abnormally absent for a few days lol). I appreciate the friendship I have with you & @Cuddlebear a lot. 😊.
I think not having anxiety definitely helps me be able/open to talking with most/any person. Sometimes the atypical way my brain things can also help with self-confidence and self-assurance too, which further makes it easier. I generally don't worry about what someone else will think of me unless I really like them as a friend and then I also know that if they know me truely and want me as a friend too, then they also know my intent is not to harm or upset them - so if I accidentally say something wrong or misunderstood or say it weirdly then they give me grace for that and the opportunity to talk about it. 😍
On Monday i will reduce down another level of medication. The GP had suggested doing alternating-days on the lowest commercially-produced dosage, but I have opted for instead customising the medication dosage to be half and taking it daily - I think this will be much better for managing my physical symptoms of dizziness. Even today, because i didn't get up until nearly 12noon and took my medication then, I was quite dizzy until after 6pm because of the delay in medication. If I was doing alternating days - I would have continued to be dizzy and probably nauseous etc until sometime after taking the dosage the following day. And I'm not sure my body would really adjust to the "shock" of one-day-on one-day-off. I honestly think my body would be better just ceasing the medication rather than doing that on/off pattern. So I have decided to do the method recommended by RELEASE (and I told my regular GP this earlier in the year when we developed the plan, not that I think he cares or remembers).
The trial update .. next week I have a 2-hour survey (?) for the baseline (or I think that is the purpose?).
Then the week after I have booked in the first meet with the pdoc, who will do their own medical evaluation as the final eligibility check. I am assuming this is when they check my BMI to ensure it is within range (it still is, but I do feel the pressure to not be able to 'relax' and comfort eat when stressed because of it). Unless my height has shrunk - that would be a problem 🤣. But my bloods & ECG were fine apparently for the trial. (My GP added a few extras into the blood for ourselves to monitor, and subsequently found that my ferritin is very low .. so iron tablets currently. Otherwise the blood were "as expected" i.e. insulin levels terrible but blood glucose fine lol)
